Time to care – Changing care
Creating more “Time to Care” by changing the way we provide care !
This was the subject of the 6th Time to Care Forum held from December 1 to December 2 in Melbourne, Australia.
32 leaders from the Australian healthcare sector were invited to the forum and provided an opportunity for obtaining new knowledge and inspiration, knowledge sharing and exchanging experiences related to safe patient handling.
The panel of speakers each addressed this subject from various angles.
From innovative and visionary solutions in aged care and hospital environments over changing the mindset in the care of bariatric patients, examples of new and different uses of hoists and slings, to findings from physiological studies among elite athletes, healthcare workers and astronauts. Experiences were shared and discussed.
Hopefully, everybody went home inspired and maybe even with a good idea or two on how care can be changed in order to get more “Time to Care” out of the available resources.
